YEP – I saw the movie Sweeney Todd with Johnny Depp.
I must say; I was a little “afraid” of “a musical”….. but was happily surprised by the outcome…. Mr.Depp is really able to sing !!!
And in all honesty – I never heard of Sweeney Todd before; so I also did not see the original movie…. The movie is much darker than I expected – and I also did not see “all the killing coming”…… hahaha Mr.Todd has been a barber in London – and has a lovely wife and child…. A Judge decides to get rid off Mr.Todd – by abandon him….. At one point Mr.Todd decides to come back – and goes back to his old house. Where now a meat-pie shop is….. Even his old scissors are still there…. He is starting his old barber shop – and even meets an “old collegue”…. Who ends up as a pie……. And more people are ending up in the pie….. The dark side of the movie…… !!!!
Won’t tell you too much of the movie; but he “finds his daughter”……
This is a real good Tim Burton movie; and I have to say = A MUST SEE !!!
