Saturday News (??); a racist pin… or just humor..?
>from Telegraaf.nl
Mmmmh – okay – Saturday News is a bit late (but heeey – my readers are asking for it… lol); but this is something which has been (apparently…??) in the news last Saturday – see this Trail Blazers Blog.
On a Republican Convention – there was a booth which had the following button/pin – saying “If Obama is President will we still call it the White House”

Okay – maybe a wrong pin on a Republican Convention, but calling it racist?
What if the the maker was black – and found it a joke to put this on = as finally “the whites are gone” from the Whitehouse….
Or is that the racist part…?? Not friendly to the white people..??
A little word-joke – that is what I think……
And again – on such a Convention… could be wrong = but to make a huge deal over it..??
Seems the Americans didn’t only loose value on their dollar – also their humor has gone….
Maybe I am wrong…..??
What to think of a t-shirt with; Corrupt on it – and the “o” has the logo of the Dutch police in it…
EXTREMELY WRONG…. ??

Pfffff – I really think we are loosing it…..!!!

WOW, Great Reaction!
A lot of noise about nothing. The guy actually sold only four buttons, two of them being journalists… It is also ridiculous that the T-shirt is punishable. We suppose to have certain liberties, but apparently that doesn’t count when those in power are the target of these liberties. Welcome to The Netherlands, province of the EUSSR…
A note on the page about the T-shirt, the use of the term “molenaar” for “moordenaar” (English: “miller” and “murderer”) comes from the 60s, when people in The Netherlands were protesting against the war in Vietnam. The protesters first used “Johnson moordenaar” (“Johnson murderer”) against the then US president, but Dutch authorities banned that. The protesters used “Johnson molenaar” (“Johnson miller”) instead, not much the authorities could do about that, and the protesters still got their point across…
