Release date of Rockband – multiple
I am really wondering about this; when you introduce a smashing blockbuster on the American market – why would you not introduce it immediately in Europe…??
Specially when the competition is making sure it is on the whole market BEFORE Christmas 2007?
Do you have a production problem…??
Do you have a logistic problem…??
Don’t you thing Europe is ready for your game yet…??
Or maybe – just maybe – you just think that it all doesn’t matter – and the “consumers will just accept it”…??
In all honesty – I think it shows a big kind of disrespect if you do not update your customers…….
I totally did not expect such a thing from MTV….
There was some kind of rumor…. (and even websites put it on as the REAL THING) that it would be the 6th of March…
I am writing this; the 8th of March…….. NOTHING
A real careful one even did the smart thing and covered Q2 Q3 and Q4 = after the first of April (as even a spokesperson of EA said)
I already compared the gaming industry with the music industry before; and I guarantee you EA – Harmonix and all the other ones;
being arrogant is gonna make you drop HARD…….
Just ask the “big ones in the music industry” – who are NOT that big anymore…..
Maybe start to be honest and say “we did……… wrong” or “we miscalculated……..”
