Yep – Toshiba announced that they will stop the HD-DVD. End of March – they will “finally” pull the plug out….

Ah well – the consumers did need a winner…. – now we are going to wait for the price drop of Blu-Ray.

I did expect that Toshiba also would introduce their own Blu-Ray player or even burner; but during the announcement of “quitting the HD-DVD” the president of Toshiba told the press that they did not have any plans with Blu-Ray YET…. (but again; I am a non-believer…..)
