According to Smarthouse; Microsoft is preparing a blu-ray player for the xbox360. Not a real big surprise; but again – there is a line in it = which makes it more and more that Microsoft is putting their hopes to the downloadable content;

“The Company has also been working on a built in Blu-ray player however insiders are claiming that Microsoft see the HD format battle moving online with consumers offered 1080p movie and content files as a download as opposed to having to buy a HD DVD or Blu-ray disc.”

This weekend – I have been watching some 1080(hd) content on my xbox360 = and yep – that is working VERY nice.
