Hypocrisy.

Today in the Dutch news; the Postbank (Translate; ING bank) is going to cancel all the banking accounts of the coffeeshops…..
(I am guessing you know what a Dutch coffee shop is? That is where you can buy your cup of coffee – but also weed/hash…… this is a tolerated kind of business = so – not as a lot of people think “legal”…. it is tolerated by the Government)

The Postbank is going to cancel such an account at the moment they see (in the transfers) it is concerning an account of a coffeeshop. And why..?? Because they say it is still illegal business and they do not want to be associated with that kind of business.

And why do I think this is wrong and why I consider them hypocrites…??

1. They have been making money via them for years…….and all of a sudden they are “to good for them”…??

2. Hypocritical to cancel the (almost) no money making bankaccounts – but keep the money making mortgages and credits going……!!

3. Who are they to check the transfers…?? Are they checking my transfer too…??? Does this mean that they will cancel your account at the moment you get your hash or weed via your pin or ING creditcard…?? BigBrother ING is watching you…..

4. Who’s account is next to be cancelled…? Heineken…??? Or Bacardi…??? Maybe Marlboro…??? Are they also not providing the same kind of product…??? Oooh I got one for you ING; maybe Hooghoudt – who is providing Stroh Rum…!!! You know; the 80% kind if ILLEGAL IN SWEDEN !!! Yeahie… found a real criminal organization !!! Oooooh – weapons are illegal…. pls cancel the account of Beretta – Uzi – etc. And what about the cars who can go faster than 120 km/h = pls cancel their accounts too !!!

5. Uh…. and what about those criminals of bankers…?? Didn’t they get the whole world in the big trouble we have now…?? Is ING canceling their business with “the Bank of America”…?? With the “Citibank”…??

Yep – I am angry about this one….. Lucky me; I am not doing business with the Postbank/ING – otherwise I would have a busy week with canceling my account and transfer my money to another – non hypocritical – bank !!

And again; no – I am not writing this because I am a big customer at the local coffeeshop – I am writing this – because I care !!
