Holiday Time; Williamsburg – here we are

Williamsburg Colonial Thursday, 4th of June – Williamsburg.

We decided to sleep in a little bit- bit of rest was needed….lol

Today we went to Williamsburg; Colonial Williamsburg. Part of this city is totally in “the old days”….. 18th century buildings AND people….and taverns….
We had a nice lunch at one of those taverns….. bit too heavy for breakfast – but we did survive….
This all looked really amazing… and we are very lucky we went in “low season”… cause I really can imagine a lot of people going here during the summer.

Next stop; James Town – where the English started “colonizing”.
They have an amazing museum; JamesTown settlement.
A real museum – with replicas of the boats…. the whole story about Pocahontas…..  the starting of slavery…., a little colonial village… a replica of a Powhatan Indian village.
Very interesting to see this part of the USA history!

Next stop; Plantation Berkeley…. but oooooops…… after 5h closed…..and it started raining….
Sorry; nothing more to say about this one.

Again; a beautiful day= nice weather (25 degrees) and beautiful towns and scenery.
