God plays guitar and is sending Spam…..
Most of the bloggers will have this problem;
SPAM….
All kinds of weird comments are getting in your “inbox”….
Some bloggers just let them “all go”- and they will be posted.
Most of the bloggers will handle them like me…….
They get a nice program running – which identify the comments OR as real comments OR as SPAM OR as “could be” SPAM.
I am using Akismet (inside my WordPress) to do this job… It is doing his job pretty nicely. Since the beginning of my weblog – it already “discovered” 3537 spam comments….. (yep – a lot uh..??).
Sometimes I need to help it a little bit; and have to decide if a comment is really spam or not…..
I found the next one and I am really wondering… did I get spammed by God who plays guitar…??? A “good Christian”….??
Or uh…. really……. who is posting these kind of comments…??

It’s not a bad idea for Americans to read the text again, especially the last two lines you quote. How much of that is really true today..?

To me it seems to be spam….. dunno who gave that person the order to do so…. Bet it wasn’t Lincoln….
No, it was certainly not Lincoln… lol
I use Akismet too. blocked 10,285 since mid march. Mostly gambling stuff. I disabled comments on one post about a spy hunter style car advert because it got so bad and the odd 1 or 2 kept getting through.
By the way decided to carry on with BB but just post a lot less frequently. Had a nice break from it last week though. I’m planning on setting up a links section on the side bar containing completly random interesting sites (blogroll). Would you be interested in doing the same and exchanging a sidebar blogroll link? All helps to improve google page rank and so higher up postioning in google searches, plus the odd clickthrough across each site etc etc. Let me know if your interested.
