Garbage bin; chipped – track & trace
The small kind of news…. Nobody is really noticing it…. Which worries me A LOT….
Sjeltur is worried…?? About what…??
WELL; today in our local newspaper just a small announcement => the garbage company announced that they going to exchange the garbage-bins for new ones…..
During the next 2 years – people will get a paper in which the exchange will be announced. The reason for it…?? The garbage company bought new trucks….and the newer bins would fit better….
Okay – some news uh…??
Uh….. and Sjeltur is worried…??
Well yeah; the same article also said….. there will be a little chip attached to the bin with the information of the owner’s address….
WHAT….??
Yes – that is the part I am worried about…..!!
What is going to happen with this chip…? What information will be gathered with that…? Why would the garbage company do that..??
Oooooh – we now pay garbage tax over the amount of persons on an address… maybe in the future they will change that to a weight tax…?? You pay what you use…
YES; but what if – yes, I know this is going a bit weird….. the garbage company could also be scanning what the content of my garbage is…..?
* I am about 100% sure that my health insurance is interested in this information…
Sjeltur eating all kinds of “unhealthy stuff†– equals higher risk = he has to pay more… !!
* I am about 100% sure that Kraft or Heinz is interested in what I use of their competition….. makes it way easier to make the perfect flyer for Sjeltur

My guess the chip is a RFID chip, so we need something like this:

(also a nice one; put nuclear garbage into one of your neighbors bin….. will give a nice result…)
I don’t think they can stop collecting the garbage if the chip doesn’t work anymore. What if the kid next door keeps frying your RFID chip? Nothing you can do about it… lol
There is a similar risk if they start using chips to weigh your garbage and you pay accordingly. People will dump their garbage somewhere else to save a buck.
The world is turning into “1984″ big brother is watching everything we do, I mean honestly what next? Will they be chipping our toilets so they can see what we have had for breakfast, the councils are all going mad, they are sending me mad! So now instead of worrying that the bins are only collected every two weeks we will have to worry about what we put in them…
Okay now you’re making me wonder about these new recycle bins we all received.
Ok, now you’ve got me worried. I hope this doesn’t happen here. Sorry it is happening there, though. I don’t like the idea of chips in anything to keep track of what we consume, what we do, etc. No sir! I’m thinking of relocating to another planet. This one is going down the toilet.
