Gambling illegal – who to decide..?
As you already know; we, of Sjeltur.nl, are pretty concerned about Governments putting their fingers on everything.
Big Brother effect, but also the involvement concerning “what is legal” – “what is not illegal” = thinking of countries who put up firewalls, so people are not able to download via bittorrent sites.
Convicting the Pirate Bay – because they give tools to share files illegally.
This time I do have another one;
As you all know; there are a lot of gambling sites on the world wide web.
Another thing you maybe know; some countries have very strict rules about gambling.
Well – we have a simple rule in Holland;
to offer ways to gamble are forbidden.
Well; not that simple….. as we do have casino’s in Holland = BUT they are owned by the Dutch Government.
And what did this Dutch Government decide to rule out the internet competition??
Banks are not allowed to transfer money to and from “illegal gambling sites”.
On top of that; advertisement for those “illegal gambling sites” are also forbidden.!!
Example; a soccer team from Italy, is not allowed to wear the shirts of their sponsor because the sponsor is one of those sites.
AND sjeltur.nl is not allowed to have banners on the site of those gambling sites!!
Our Government is going WAY TOOOOOO FAR with this “to just protect their own legal (??) casinos.”
How is this regulated in your country??
And do you even gamble via the internet??
NeDDRland, the EUSSR, our future prison that’s constructed right now…
A country’s government should take bold steps and create legal acts for gambling so that it does not become a mess.
I don’t think there is much to concern about online casinos! People around US are playing it quite easily even the latest bill says its illegal!
