Free Wikipedia Germany does not exist

It is all so weird.
If you find something on Wikipedia and you know that article is incorrect. And maybe it even making you look bad…. what would you do??
One of the nice parts of Wikipedia is; you can edit the article your self.. Or you even could warn the admin about the incorrect part on Wikipedia….
What are you doing when you are Lutz Heilmann, member of the German Parliament and you find an article in which is stated that you where a former member of the secret service of East Germany (Stasi).
Yes; you just make sure that Wikipedia is not showing that anymore; and you make Wikipedia closing down by Court Order.
This is what you will read when you go to the German Wikipedia
The county court of Luebeck (North Germany) has issued an order in the name of Lutz Heilmann, Member of Parliament (left party/post-communist) that the German Wikipedia (Wikimedia e.V.) must not allow linking its domain wikipedia.de to the Web site wikipedia.org, as long as the German language version of wikipedia.org makes certain statements.
You still can see the article about Mr.Heilmann via the wikipedia.com as their servers are in Florida/USA. A country which is stating to still have freedom of speech (yep we could write another article about that uh..?? )
Well; with this action the German Court is making themselves uh.. how should I phrase this. uh. ridiculous? Closing a whole site down because of one article which may or may not be true?? This is (almost) making the German Court a helper of the hands of the Stasi or not??
And the “sad part” for Mr.Heilmann = because of his legal action – he got way more attention then he probably wanted…… Even Sjeltur is talking about you…..
Ridiculous. This guy thinks he still lives in the DDR? But worse, the German court gives another punch to already eroding civil liberties. Especially the Germans should know better you would think…
On a positive note, the case also shows it’s hard to block the information entirely. Authorities in our so-called free western countries can try to keep the population stupid, but information wants to be free.
Some more news about this, people in Germany are supporting Wikipedia by donating money. The amount that was donated last Saturday was more than five times higher than it usually is. If you can read German, read here how Germans feel about the decision of their court: https://secure.wikimedia.de/spenden/list.php
