Dutch government tells you how to be a good citizen
The Dutch government is working on a “catalogue” of values, said Guusje ter Horst, minister of Home Affairs. According to her, the document will contain values they think makes good citizenship. No more complaining anonymously online about society and politics, no, the Dutch need to get involved in organizations that facilitate real discussions! Explicitly she mentioned becoming a member of a political party.

I don’t think so… Last time I checked this supposed to be a free country, where the citizens determine what values are important and how the government should act on it. But now it’s reversed, more evidence how the goverment is getting involved in almost every aspect of our lives. Lenin and Mao would have been proud…
