Not something really new…. But in Holland some results of TNO (they “collect knowledge” and make reports) showed that MAYBE the result of cd and movie sales will go down because of sharing (and downloading). BUT – at the long end; the final sales will go up. Just think of; less people to the movie theatre – but more people buying the dvd or other merchandise of this movie…… and less people buying music cds – but more people going to the concerts and buying other merchandise (like T-shirts etc)….

There are even a lot of people who download a song and later on – they will buy the whole album….

Nothing new to me….. but apparently we need an expensive “investigation” to show this to the movie and music companies (which are… uh….the same companies uh..??) .

And yes; I know the big complaint now-a-days of the music companies is “less people are coming to the concerts”…. OF COURSE THERE ARE LESS PEOPLE GOING !!!  What do you expect with those prices…??

I LOVE going to concerts… the latest ticket I bought; AC/DC – a crazy amount of 75 Euro…. (100 Usd)!!!

I do not want to sound old – but uh…. early 90s I went to big concerts for the amount of 40 Guilder – which was already “expensive”= 18 euro (24 Usd) = how is it possible that now all of a sudden we are paying 4 times the amount..??

Music companies; stop complaining – look in the mirror and say out loud “yes – we are *ssholes”……
