Bizarre accident in Belgium: little boy very lucky

From: Telegraaf

A bizarre accident happened Monday in the Belgian town of Ledeberg. A propane tank in use by a local butcher exploded, flew into the air, came down about 100 metres away, smashed the glass roof of a house, and finally landed in the living room, next to a four year old boy watching TV.

The dad heard the explosion and at least five seconds later he heard a much bigger bang when the tank smashed the glass roof. When he and his pregnant wife entered the living room they saw the room was filled with tons of sharp pieces of glass, but their son was not injured. The boy was very lucky, most of the glass fell down at a spot in the living room where he usually plays, but this time he was watching TV.

  1. That was a miracle. I would thank my lucky stars if I was those parents.

  2. Talk about a freak accident! Good thing that little boy wasn’t hurt.

  3. Owh what a miracle. The boy wasn’t hurt, but I’m afraid his shocking parents would have trauma.
