Batman; the Dark Knight – I watched it….
Yesterday evening was my time to go watch “the Dark Knight”.
At the entrance (where you have to handover your ticket) I was confronted with a problem I already mentioned on my weblog before. A dad with his daughter, a son and another younger son wanted to go in. But they where stopped at that point, because the younger son appeared to be too young. I was closely behind them – and overheard the discussion. The dad knew about the age thing; but thought it was an “advice”…. The girl from the tickets didn’t really know what to say – she just had instructions to NOT let people underneath 16 years in; so I started explaining to the father that this was a LAW thing…..
All the other age “rules” are an advice – but the 16 year old one is a law….
In all honesty – they totally didn’t get it…. and the dad got a big angry…..
I told him that I totally understand his opinion – and that I also thought it was a ridigolous rule/law….
So – the dad and his children went to the manager…… I have no idea what was discusse overthere….. BUT I did not see them in the actual movie room; so I don’t think he got to see the movie…..
Okay – to the movie……
What can I say; I really loved it !!
In every review you can read about the opening scene (the bank robbery) – about Leadger his great performance…. – Christian Bale playing “the perfect Batman” …… – the story line….. – the dark Gotham city……- the action…… – the perfect camera view…….. – the extreme crazy Joker……

I think many people don’t know that the rating for 16 is a law thing.
Good review of the movie. I have to see all the other Batman movies first before watching this one. I’m not a big fan of superhero type movies, this could be an exception, judging from your story.
You don’t have to see the other Batman movies first; only Batman Begins !!
(and that one is also with Christian Bale)
Same cast – and same kind of “feeling to it”….
I am also not a fan of superhero movies – but Batman Begins was already the exception…
Ah, okay… I’ll watch that one first, then…
